Time to play catch up Divas!

After missing one day of blogging *slash* gossip searching and fashion stalking, I feel so left behind. As I mentioned before I don’t have internet access at home so I have to wait until I get to my mom’s house before I can get my daily blogger fix, plus I had tons of reading to do for the class that I started a week ago! I did discover yesterday though, that I can blog from my cell phone. Now all I have to do is beg my mother to add internet to our current cell phone plan, wish me luck with that because in these recessionary times it may be pretty hard to get my mother to pay an extra 5.99 USD per month, but I will try.

Here is a brief recap!

One of the things that I saw constantly pop up in my mobile blog updates is the continuation of the murder/ suicide investigation of Steve McNair and his side boo. Apparently yesterday authorities decided to release information that most of us already figured, which is McNair’s side boo shot him four times and then turned the gun on herself.

This, in my opinion is a very unfortunate event, but I noticed something while reading yesterday that is a little funny to me. NONE of the blog host seems to consider Steve McNair the victim, instead they hurt for the wife and children that he left behind. Most of the bloggers have even gone so far as to blame the victim (McNair). In most cases I would say that we should not blame the victim and we should hurt for them all BUT as a woman I can’t help but to side with the rest of you divas and say “He should not have put himself in this situation” and “he brought it on himself”. Now that does feel weird to say since he is deceased, and no one has the right to take another person’s life….. BUT at what point do we, as adults take responsibility for our actions. Now, some would argue that because the scenario suggest that he was leaving his side boo and had NOT planned on divorcing his wife, that he WAS in fact taking responsibility for his actions and removing himself from the situation. BUT WHY PEOPLE? WHY, was he removing himself from the situation? We all know that it was not because all of a sudden he felt a sense of guilt, and we definitely know that it was NOT because he grew this overwhelmingly new love for his wife and he just couldn’t live with what he had done!.........The is that this break up was scheduled because prior to his death the two of them were pulled over in what some would call a bonafied, dramafied and suspicious situation, this my friends hit to close to home for the ex- NFL star so he figured that before the shit hit the fan things blew up in his face he would end the sexcapade that he had been enjoying! So yes I do feel for Mechelle McNair and the children he left behind and although most humans’ cheaters don’t think that this type of thing could happen to them, maybe some of them will learn from this and not play around with another person’s emotions. Even though side boo knew that he was married, as the married individual it was hi duty to keep it real and if he knew that he still wanted to join the other sluts’ kids on the playground then he should have left Mechelle (his wife) in the class room!

Another story that popped up was about the happenings behind the scenes of the Micheal Jackson memorial service a few days ago. I am NOT going to elaborate on this, so if you want to know more about it then feel free to look it up yourself, but I honestly think the Jackson family should be left alone….I almost feel like hitting everybody with the good ole’ faithful “can we all just get along” speech! LOL…..Really though, it may be backwards to some of you that I feel for the king of pop and not McNair, but whatever, that’s why this is MY BLOG! LOL….McNair CHOSE to have a career in the spot light and he CHOSE to have a side boo that his wife did not know about BUT Mike was forced into the industry and since he was a child he has had no privacy! A blind man could see that some things happened to Micheal as a child that forever altered his adult hood. SO YES, I just want the man to rest in peace and his family to be allowed to grieve as a normal family should…ESPECIALLY his mother and children. We have all heard that there is nothing like losing a child and although I don’t have any children, I did have a sister to pass away really young and witnessed first had how it affected my parents, especially my mother, so I do pray that soon the media will calm down on the Jackson family and allow them room to grieve properly.
