We all know the type that : Constantly remind you that you have gained weight, but they always want you to eat with them and when you turn down the fatty fried foods that they offer they say “oh, what you trying to watch your figure” or they say “you on a diet or something?” Oh, and my favorite is “girl a little won’t hurt” . They act as if something is wrong with you wanting to eat better, and the last quote…my favorite, is usually part of the reason we are overweight in the first place...... because we listen to them and others like them and eat “a little” of the bad stuff EVERYDAY…Or they get us to eat WITH them, because misery love company!!
I am not saying to cut these people out of our lives completely, especially since most of the time they are people closest to us. The solution is to filter everything that they say and make friends with healthier, positive people! …If there is a person around work, church on somewhere that seems cool and inspirational. Usually you will find that people who are healthy and fit tend to be very welcoming towards the idea of a fitness partner!
