After a successful run of Turbo Jam I decided that it was time for me to eat some lunch. I know the picture may not look like much, but take it from a professional eater, this salad was bomb. My mom recently subscribed to Prevention Magazine and and they did a spread on healthy snack and meals under 100 calories. One of the pictures was a salad with no lettuce and I thought to myself “can a plate full of fruits and veggies really be called a salad?” ….According to Prevention Magazine and ‘You are what you eat’ the answer is yes.
Obviously I put lettuce on this one because I don’t have much in my fridge right now, but I am trying to steer away from the traditional salads and try something new. On this salad I have a heaping serving of romaine lettuce, a mound of vinegar dipped cucumbers, 1 boiled, a sprinkle of onion and herb Mrs. Dash, two slices of tomatoes, 1 tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese and 6 small slices of low fat turkey pepperoni...oh! And one serving of Italian dressing!......Yall’ this salad was great!!
