Jean -tastic...How to find the perfect jeans....

Every diva knows that jeans are the ultimate accessory! Each wardrobe should include at least one pair of jeans. They are extremely convenient and can be worn for almost any occasion! I have always had a hard time finding the perfect jeans, mostly because I have always gained most of my weight in my stomach so they never fit just right in the behind or hips/thigh area! Lately, as the pounds have been shedding, my boyfriend has pointed out that I have developed the "saggy booty", meaning that my jeans sag really badly in the buttock area and looks really sloppy and it's so bad that he has offered on more then one occasion to buy me a pair of jeans! LOL... So as you can imagine I have searched high and low for the perfect jeans and honestly I am still searching, but here are a few tips!

1. Set time aside... Shopping for the perfect jeans can be really time consuming, so it is important for you to set time aside because if you are rushing, you may make the wrong decision and get home to find that you hate the jeans.

2. Know your body type... I know that we all love the low rise and straight leg look, but be real with yourself, those looks only work on certain body types! Also, if you are smaller at the bottom like me, light colored jeans look great, and if you are larger at the bottom then go for the darker jeans!

3. Don't worry about the number on the tag....No divas I am not talking about the price this time! I am referring to the size. Many of us get so hung up on the size and if the perfect fit is a number or two higher then what we usually buy then we won't get them....Honestly regardless of the number, the perfect fit will look better! Besides, we all know that the whole muffin top ordeal is not cool!

4. Keep your shoes in mind... If you usually wear heels, look for a long hem and if you usually wear flats look for a shorter heel. If you take shoes along with you, it will be easier to avoid high waters and/or jeans dragging onto the floor...neither is cute!

5. Take a friend or a camera....This one may be weird but sometimes we don't know what we really look like until we take a picture or ask a friend. I love to go shopping by myself so it is easier for me to snap a pic in the mirror with the jeans on and see if they look as good as I think the look.
