Baby Mama....NOT!

There seems to be a growing trend for baby mamas and baby daddies!...WHY have we forgotten about marriage and building foundations before having children? I just don't get it. Recently my boyfriend asked me if we would be together if he had a child from a previous relationship, and my response to him was NO!...I will not date a man with a child. I know that every situation is different but I don't want to deal with a out of control baby mama, a man who never commits but has children all over the place and I damn sure don't want to be his next BABY MAMA!...

I get extremely annoyed when I am around my boyfriends family and they ask "when are you guys having a little one", instead of asking us when will we finish college, or wondering when we plan on getting married....oh and when I respond by saying "whenever he marries me" they look at me as if I am from another planet!....seriously, I just don't get it.

I honestly don't know if a lot of black men understand how important it is for a child to live in a stable, happy and complete family household.

Both my boyfriend and I lived in a home with both parents but he still does not get it! Most of his male friends have children...some have multiple children with the same women and for some reason fear marriage and commitment....My female friends have children except one and they all have absent fathers. What happened to marriage and old fashioned family lives?

I will be standing my ground and try my best to avoid getting pregnant before we marry! I do understand that life happens but this I am sure I can prevent, therefore I will be trying my best not to be a statistic!
